At ConnectiviTree, we are building a new company and a new carrier class highly efficient data transport network. We place our corporate and social responsibility at the heart of our development, endeavouring to grow our business in a sustainable, responsible manner.
Our Road to Net-Zero
ConnectiviTree has a clear and adaptive overall Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Strategy which includes a defined path to be Net-Zero as a company and to help our customers, suppliers, and the industry reach their Net-Zero targets.
Just as we believe in building the highest quality carrier-grade network, we believe in investor-grade carbon accounting. This means accredited, traceable and verifiable accounting for our SCOPE 1, SCOPE 2, and SCOPE 3 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
GHG Protocol Corporate Standard defines these scopes are follows:
SCOPE 1
Direct emissions by your organization, e.g. from burning fuels such as natural gas for heating or petrol to fuel cars.
SCOPE 2
Indirect emissions from purchased electricity, cooling, heat or steam.
SCOPE 3
Other indirect emissions along your value chain from your suppliers or customers.
Carbon Neutral to Carbon Positive
We have set targets to progress from Carbon Neutral to Carbon Positive for our own Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions, extending this to include full Scope 3 emissions on our journey to our Net-Zero targets. In so doing, ConnectiviTree plans to be able to help reduce the Scope 3 emissions for its customers through the wholesale use of the ConnectiviTree data transport network.
Initial calculations show this reduction on transport links to be substantive versus legacy transport networks.
Social Responsibility
At ConnectiviTree, we apply ISO 26000 as a framework to implement social responsibility in our values and practices. ConnectiviTree upholds fundamental human rights as expressed by the United Nations through the International Labour Organization. We expect our employees and supply chain to comply these fundamental principles.
We have zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking. We will not tolerate any such activities within our operations or supply chain. We are committed to running our business responsibly and maintain the highest ethical principles and respect human and property rights.
